For groups over 20 employees we contract with California’s leading COBRA administrator to process all of your COBRA. We contract with an outside firm to provide this service upon beginning the client relationship and pay for any administrative costs. It is very important that COBRA laws are followed and that your business is in compliance with all rules and regulations. We take care of this for you and handle all administrative aspects of processing the qualifying event.
For groups under 20 employees, COBRA paperwork is sent out by the current carrier. We let the carrier know of the date of separation of service and make sure they follow up and send out the COBRA packet in a timely manner.
