Personal Notes:
Jim Oakden was picked off the
waiver-wire trash heap back in July of 2002. He
used to play for Coed-Cruiser Monday Night Rival
"Bourbon Street." Manager Dan Romero's keen eye for
talent determined this speedster had a future in
slow-pitch softball. So far, that keen eye has
proven to be right on the nose. The man is quiet,
but drives a big motha' f'in truck. He has a hard
time finding a lady he can hold on to. "I am
attacted to women who want to hurt me. Physically.
As in beat my *!(# up. I hate it." said the Oak. He
likens himself to Batman, in Batman and Robin.
Madden Cruiser
Highlights:March 2003, Oakden
batted .727 with a .769 OB% out at the Yard. He
also made two of the most amazing catches in his
time.
