Self Gloss:
I started playing baseball at age
six and I just fell in love with the sport. As a
kid I was able to travel and play all types of
tournaments and test myself. My step dad was always
my coach and I am positive that made me the player
that I was. I have had great success all through
little league and high school. I am tied with my
best friend at south sunrise little league - we
both struck out 18 batters in one game &endash; I
have to say that is my greatest accomplishment. My
junior year of high school I threw a one hitter
against Santa Ana Valley and tore my rotator cuff -
- - I am now playing glorified softball Š.and
having a blast.
Personal Notes:
Mike Rash was acqured via the
CASlowPitch.com free-agent board. It was rumored
that dude tied a kid to a tree at El Modena High
School and left a 13" kielbasa in his pants. This
has never been verified however. Rash enjoys
bowling. He claims he once bowled a perfect 300
with a Kielbasa in his back pocket. Again, nothing
to validate this. Being that he came from the
Free-Agent page, it is unknown what degree of shady
and sediness resides in the Rash. He continually
tries to break down these barriers through offers
of Keilbasa's. He is a member of the Santa Ana Elks
and is looking to become the youngest ER in the
history of the lodge. He has convereted from SS to
2B to 1B to P. We now feel it is safe to say he has
found a home. Mike quit the team in September of
2004 to join Nick Cantu and start up Team
Bordiers.
