Personal Notes: Gun is a product of the DiTech.com Tuesday night rec league team. He's played with Steve Martin, Tim Wilson and others en route to his callup with the Cruisers. He's a tough cookie to get out on the field with his constant plans and busy weekends. When he was there, he provided a nice little spark and a solid stick. He attributes his softball success to his little league baseball coach, John Perkins. "I knew John Perkins. John Perkins was my friend. Let me tell you, TIM WILSON IS NO JOHN PERKINS." says Strunz. Aside from softball, the Gun is working on attaining a boat in the Havasu area. "I'm gonna take the whole team out for a ride. You watch." says Strunz. Much to the team's dismay, this never occured, as Strunz' schedule did not allow for a serious commitment with the Cruisers. He shuffled off after an .813 batting performance at the Yard, and was never heard from again. Another quality guy, with some great skillz, just couldn't work it out in the schedule.

Madden Cruiser Highlights:Batted a cool .813 (13 for 16) in his second tournament with the Cruisers.
