Self Gloss:
Well where do I begin? I played
little league growing up and myself and my twin
brother were the best pitchers in little league and
was one game from going to the little league world
series. I played high school baseball and
basketball. Involved in sports while growing up
through the years. I started playing competitive
softball in 1983 in Japan for the Marine team while
I was there and learned allot from some of the
older guys that had been playing for a while. Then
ever since I returned to stateside I have been
playing competitive ever since. I've played upper
division softball for years and have played in
numerous world tourneys and yet to win one.
Hopefully soon before I retire and start playing
golf. I hit for average and I can go deep if needed
to do so. My average speaks for it self. (trying to
get all the guys to hit with me at least in one
tourney) I hit .700 to .800 consistently. Teams
I've played for in the past is HeadFirst, Mizuno
Braves, Jammers, Stick-ees, High Intensity, All
Marine Softball Team, Balls Out, First and Third,
and to many to name at this time. Excellant all
around player and a team player at that. Good
attitude and can pick up a team if morale is down.
Keep them pumped up! I have good leadership traits
on the softball field and give good advice when
needed. Maddencruisers please "HIT WITH ME".
Personal Notes:
Danny Thomas is a man of the world.
First off, he does enjoy bowling. Infact, he enjoys
bowling with 'the Noid' after all-day/night
tournaments at Irvine's Rock & Bowl. His "hey
Lady", Debbie Duxbury is one of the Cruisers best
fans, and the latest member of the COED CRUISERS!
Danny lives in Irvine but has an eye on moving back
into the city. Often times at tournaments you'll
find him pounding Silver Bullets, and bitching that
all the guys on the team are MOOCHES who don't
reimburse Bullets they PARTAKE IN. Thomas is also a
soon-to-be member of the SANTA ANA ELKS lodge. "I
can't wait to wear one of those 'funny' hats. I
also wanna drive around in those little cars." said
Thomas. Little does he know that the Shrines, not
the Elks, do that. He also enjoys cuddle time with
his cat, "Dinky" Lastly, the man has been BEGGING
for a profile for months now. Now, he has
arrived.
Madden Cruiser
Highlights:in his first Coed
Cruiser tournament, Thomas batted a cool 1.000
going 16 for 16 up in big bear lake. Thomas batted
.750 or better in three of his first ever Madden
Cruiser tournaments.
