Self Gloss: I'm a true team
player. Will occasionally get greedy and
try to blast the inside pitch over the
left-fielder's head, but mainly a line drive
hitter...
Personal Notes:
Referred by Larry Kugelman... we've
been kicking ourselves ever since... Actually he's
been a solid pick-up that has the ability to fill
in at numerous positions. Married, with two
children... Mini Jim Barr refuses to be the team
bat boy... Where is the love???? Started off at 3rd
base, was moved to second, then moved to RF, then
to catcher, back to second, then to catcher now he
is pitching... Has a black belt in 'retail
philosophy' and can commonly be heard saying
"shweet" when something nice happens.... Loves to
have Lefty Larry Kugelman hit behind him... Enjoys
the links, and is an avid roto-league
participant... best finish was a 3rd place job in
1999-2000 Roto Basketball League... Plans on
leaving the team this fall and Joining the
REPLACMENTS SOFTBALL
CLUB. Barr will be sorely
missed.
Madden Cruiser
Highlights: Barr is new to the Cruiser family,
but has endured many seasons to become a fan
favorite.  The biggest highlight
for barr came when his teammate, Larry Kugelman,
memorilized him on print by making his own line of
clothes. Yes, the Jim
Barr Pimp Gear collection.... a fan
favorite. Barr, held the highest tournament avg. on
the team for a good month or two in 2000. Was 'That
Guy' in the Cruisers only loss of the Fall 2000
season. Debuted as Cruiser pitcher in NSA
tournament on 4/14/01... Lead the team to first
victory, with a 3-1 record, and hit above .600 on
the day, driving in 8 runs.... Is the only player
in Cruiser history to have a bobble head doll
night. The team celebtrated Barr's legend on August
15, 2001 with this special promotion. "I was
