Personal Notes: Mike has come along way since his last stint with the Cruisers. Once considered an overpaid primmadona, he now has become the consumate team player.... Beltran joined the Cruisers in their second season back in 1993.... The team went 5-5 in his first season... he suffered through some lean years as well... Missed the 1995 champion season... Rejoined team at Hart Park in 1996, but broke ties with the team when his attitude went to hell... Brings a pleasent smile and warm attitude to the clubhouse now... Plays racquetball with Soles on the weekends... Waited four weeks for his Cruiser jersey to come in... but was quoted as saying, "Those were the best four weeks I could have invested. I'm so proud to put this jersey on." ... Married and has a little Beltran... His wife prints up the web page so he can read the articles. Very nice.

Madden Cruiser Highlights: Batted .674 in the year 2000. Has a career .646 batting average.
