Self Gloss:
I let my stick do the
talking.
Personal Notes:
Cantu returned to the ball club in
1999 after a four year hold out. He demanded a four
year extension, and was willing to sit out all four
years to get it..... He didn't get it... Works for
the dept. in Santa Ana, so stay on his good side or
else... Former employee of Racquetball World, Santa
Ana. No one folded a meaner towel...Refuses to play
SS, however he moved there for the Spring 2000
season... Lead the Cruisers to their first
championship in the 1995 season... Brings a calming
presence to the clubhouse.... One of the most
well-rounded defensive players on the ball club.
Enjoys long brisk walks on the beach with his dog,
'Socks'... Not only can he swing a stick, but he
can swing a stick. (i.e. baseball and golf)...
Played on the Madden Cruiser football squad with
Andy Solis in 1999. Ruptured his tendon in his knee
on the 2001 TurkeyBowl, and may wind up missing the
entire 2002 season. A big loss for the Cruisers.
Quit the team again in 2004. He rejoined the team
in 2005 as a cameo, and fulltime in 2006.
Madden Cruiser

Solis for Tournament OB% title on 3/24/01. Finished
3rd in Batting Average (min 100 AB's) in 2001
